Community Bible Study
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our study groups meet online weekly during the school year and welcome participants from Connecticut and beyond. Participants receive a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in online small group discussions and then view a brief teaching video on that week's lesson. From time to time, online fellowships will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the group.
Our Bible Study groups are all live and online, and we welcome participants from Connecticut and beyond. We have groups for Men only, Women only, and Co-ed on Tuesday evenings and groups for Women only on Thursday mornings. See "Locations and Registration" below to find the best group for you and register.
FALL 2024:
Join us this fall as we explore Matthew. Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus's life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew's message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!
Tuesday Evenings (7:00 - 8:30 PM ET) - Online core group Bible study for Co-Ed, Men, and Women.
Begins: Tuesday, September 10th
Thursday Mornings (9:30 - 11:00 AM ET) - Online core group Bible study for Women.
Begins: Thursday, September 12th

If you are looking for an IN-PERSON Bible study group, and you live near Avon, CT, please visit https://avon.cbsclass.org/. Avon CBS has Women's and Co-Ed groups. They will be studying the Book of Matthew on Thursday mornings.
